I am offering this poll as a fun way to get us started. The question is...which of these common diet "activities" is hardest for you? In other words, which item is the one that you think you will need to work on the most?

I had trouble choosing as the only one on the list that I don't have trouble with is eating my fruits and veggies. All the others are VERY hard! I chose the one that seemed the most important and which I sadly overlook.

Actually, the hardest thing for me is to stop once I start eating. I feel so good when I am eating something (wether its sweets or cereals or a main meal) I have to have more, no compromise in my mind. Sometimes I am very full but I keep eating. If I don't have more then I feel incomplete for ages.

For me I don't really like fruits, tho I LOVE vegetables.... and I have problems with comfort foods. You know, those sweet fattening things that call to you in the middle of the night. <sigh>.
The WORST issue for me is going to be to surrender to Jesus the soda that I drink daily. It's ALL i drink. Maybe fruit juice but yeah I drink like a 2 litre a day. Or more. And I am not having HUGE health issues at the moment, but I know it's a set up from the dark side. I need to put my will under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. God wants a servant in good health and if I keep on it's not going to be pleasant. God told me to do this prolly a month ago, and I haven't really acted on it cos I was by myself. Now that there's a community going through the trials I face, well i feel like I have support and I am ready.

I too struggle with more than one of those things but late night eating is by far the worst. I have never been able to work out quite why so praying for revelation on that.

Another question might be which one of those is easier for you. None of them are easy for me and all of them are hard. Life long habits are hard to break. I don't like people to know what I am doing, so when I fail no one will know. (smile) Exercise is hard cuz i have a leg that goes numb if i stand to long. I love pool exercise tho, and try that during summer at least two times a week. Fruit is hard at times, veggies too. Eating late at night is not a big one for me except I take a pill I have to eat a cracker with. Logging, hmmmm cant stay focused.. And asking GOD? What if he tells me how bad I am although now that i read that I will have to ask him as soon as i get off of here. Thanks a lot survey. LOL

I have trouble eating enough veggies, I also have trouble exercising on a regular basis. But all to the glory of God, Ihave lost 5 pounds in 12 days. Keeping it off will be a problem, even thought I have stopped eating sweets except in very small amounts.Keep the articles coming.
