So, I've decided to change up my exercise routine. It's getting...well...routine. 3 weeks ago I added 2 days of resistance training to my 3 days of cardio and I am starting to see some changes. Not sure about the scale, but definite changes to the way my clothes fit. I actually have muscles now! Amazing! This week, I'm going to start adding one more day of resistance training, and then at least 2 evenings of yoga per week. Just to see what happens. I am not weighing for the entire month of February...just too discouraging. I'm just going to concentrate on exercise and try to stick more closely to my food plan and see where I am at the end of the month. Hopefully, it will all add up and I'll see it on the scale too! The sun came out yesterday for a good while, so I went for a nice long walk with hubby on our local greenway. It felt good to be in the sunshine and fresh air. Thank you Lord for sunny days in February!!

Yes, indeed: Thank God for sunny days in February! I had an interesting day. Warmed up the Kenworth T800 and headed for Zuni, New Mexico to pick up a large (it weighs 33,000 pounds) forklift that's been out on rent for 3 months. Drove through snow flurries and sunshine (that's the interesting part). The roads were just wet, not icy (that's the nice part). It's a 180 mile drive just to get to the job site, which is 33 miles south of Gallup, NM. Yes, there really is a town called Gallup, NM. My day was spent mostly sitting, with very little exercise. Hey, I get paid to sit and drive!
The blessing came on the way back, when I stopped at McDonald's for lunch at 2:10. After a 30 minute lunch I headed back onto the Interstate and reached for the button to turn on the radio. As I touched the button an overwhelming sense of God's presence flooded the cab of the truck. The radio stayed off. For about the next 30 minutes I sang, prayed, praised, and tried to keep the tears in my eyes to a minimum. (One should be able to see at least a little while driving a total of of 65,000 pounds on an interstate at 75 miles per hour.) That was about the extent of my exercise today.

That sounds like the best exercise of all, Dennis! I love it when I get a glimpse of God that way. Keep on truckin, brother!

A good exercise plan is necessary to maintain the health and fitness level. Do exercise daily for at least 30 minutes to improve the body strength, body balance, and stamina. Through the regular exercise plan you can get rid of various diseases such as blood pressure, digestive problems, heart problems, and body pain etc.
