I just got tired of my blood pressure and pulse rate going up every time I had something with more that a little bit of sugar in it. I have switched to drinking diet soft drinks, and you know, you get used to the Nutra-Sweet/aspartame. Then my wife and I, on our weekly trip to the grocery store, found some soft drinks sweetened with Splenda, which I think is much better than aspartame. I don't consume sugar in other foods near as much as I used to, and it's nice to not sense my blood pressure going up a bit. Sure took me long enough to come around, though.

Stopped in here today. Swept the floor, dusted the furniture, changed the seasonal decorations from summer to autumn themes. My wife should see such energy at our own home! ;D

Update to the soft drinks: It was fun while it lasted, but alas! I've mostly stopped. No, no, not stopped staying away from sugared soft drinks, but from consuming so many of the diet soft drinks. All the diet drinks in our local store are colas, and they have too much acid in them for my stomach. I enjoy one, maybe two, a week. Back to water, I suppose.
