Here is an easy way to get sweet potato (or yams) into your diet...
Take a sweet potato (or yam) and wash thoroughly, but don't skin it. Slice it into thin slices (about 1/16 of an inch thick) and place on cookie sheet. Bake in preheated over at 450 degrees for about 8 minutes. They will "caramelize a bit and become sweet (and sort of remind you of pumpkin cookies). If you like, you can sprinkle cinnamon on top, thought I personally eat mine without the cinnamon.
If you like them a bit crispier, you can cook them longer...but watch them carefully because they burn fast.
*Note: ovens vary a bit, so the first time you make them, start checking them at about 5 or 6 minutes to make sure they are not burning and then check them about once every 2 minutes after that until you know how long they cook in your oven.

I'm going to try these this week. I also read about doing the same with carrot slices, radish slices, zucchini slices and butternut squash of all things. Let the "chips" fall where they may...

Sweet potato chips is my favorite. I want to try it at my kitchen but I have no any single recipe of the sweet potato recipe. I think it is prepared same as the simple potato chips.
