I hope it's okay to ask for prayer for a family member instead of myself. My 10 yr old grandson Christian has bipolar disorder and is not doing very well on his meds. He is having some serious depression and is talking about dying again, the swing side is that he is very angry but can't really articulate what he's angry about. It breaks my heart to see such a little guy with such a big problem. I have been taking care of him in the mornings this week, and it has been a struggle, especially today. He didn't want to go to school today, but I made him anyway because I have to work, so he has sat in the office all day refusing to go to class. (He's in 5th grade) I feel like I have exhausted my own prayers for him, also hate to ask friends to pray for the same reason...I don't want to burn them out.
I know God has big plans for this little man, but the enemy is certainly working overtime in our family right now. Very stressful! My daughter has gained probably 50 lbs in the last 2 years with all the stress this causes her, not healthy for her marriage either. I want to help but just don't know what to do anymore.
I would appreciate having some prayer warriors take this to Lord for me. Thank you in advance for your care and concern!

Thank you to any who prayed for my grandson. He leveled out a bit and ended the week on a high note. He's seeing his doctor at the end of next week, I think she wants to add an antidepressant to his regime as his depression is just not controlled and it is really scary sometimes. Also going to start the process to get him an IEP (individualized educational plan) this year before he starts middle school next year.
I often wonder why God has allowed this in Christian's life and struggle with not having an answer, but I had a dream one time that he was all grown up and was speaking in front of a large group of people sharing how God had brought him through Bipolar Disorder. I believe the Lord gave me that in order to encourage me and help me to realize that we are just on the beginning of this road, there's lots more to come and God has his hand on all of it and will get the glory in the end!

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.

but I had a dream one time that he was all grown up and was speaking in front of a large group of people sharing how God had brought him through Bipolar Disorder. That line strikes a responsive and affirmative chord within me, renkymac. I believe I can confirm the truthfulness of your dream. How exciting to be a part of what he will share! The Lord's blessings on you!
